Our field trip programs help students develop balance, coordination, strength, and confidence within a team environment. Fitset Ninja coaches will run the entire field trip, leading students through the warmup, orientation and team competition. As well, of our coaches have first aid training and have undergone criminal record and vulnerable persons checks.

Edmonton School Field Trips
Age Groups: Open to grades K-12. Minimum age is 5 years old.
Duration: Up to 90 minutes, however visits can be shorter. We recommend having at least 60 minutes of course time.
Structure:
Arrival - Students change, put on indoor shoes, fill up water bottles.
Warmup (5-10 min) - Our staff will lead the students through a guided group warmup activity.
Obstacle Orientation (10-15 mins) - Our staff member will explain and demonstrate how to do the various obstacles safely as well as show students the various course routes that are setup within our space.
Open Gym (45-65 mins) - Students can work on any of the obstacles in an open gym format to practice and get a feel for the different routes. They can ask staff members questions about technique or just explore the various challenges and progressions each obstacle offers.
Race Time / Time Trials (15-30 mins) - Students have the opportunity to do the course from start to finish and record their time. This part can be mandatory or optional based on class (type, age, etc) and teacher preference.
Staffing: Fitset Ninja coaches will run the entire event, leading students through the warmup, orientation and mini competition. All of our coaches have been trained on our equipment and are experts in providing a stress-free and safe environment for students and staff. Our coaches also all have first aid training and have undergone criminal record and vulnerable persons checks.

FAQ
Why should I choose Fitset Ninja?
Fitset Ninja offers the best, most unique event for schools in Edmonton! We provide an incredibly fun, memorable and safe environment for everyone 5 years and up to enjoy climbing, swinging, jumping and hanging on some awesome obstacles in a high-energy atmosphere.
What should my students pack for the day?
- Clean indoor running shoes.
- Gym attire (shorts or athletic pants/joggers and a t-shirt).
- A water bottle.
What is the maximum number of students that may attend?
There is no limit to the number of students that can run through our course during your booking. However, the maximum number of students on the course at any given time is 140 students.
What is the skill level required?
Our obstacle course is for all skill levels! Our school field trips are designed to accommodate all ability and fitness levels in a fun and engaging way.
How many coaches will there be?
This will depend on how many students are participating throughout the day in each class. We often have 2-3 ninja coaches facilitating but will add additional coaches when required for larger groups.
How are you ensuring our students' safety?
All of our coaches are first aid certified and have been trained on how to properly set up the equipment and safety matting for camps. All coaches communicate rules and obstacle safety demos at the beginning of day to minimize the risk of any injuries. As well, all coaches have undergone criminal record and vulnerable persons checks.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so anytime up to 1 week before your booking date for a full refund. If you need to cancel within the 1 week period before your booking, there will be a $100 cancellation fee and you will receive a partial refund minus the fee.
Can I reschedule my booking?
If you’d like to reschedule your booking, we can help you do that anytime up to 72 hours before your booking day at no additional cost. If you’d like to reschedule within the 72 hour period before your booking, there will be a $50 rescheduling fee.
What happens when fewer students than expected attend the field trip?
Our school field trip program includes an 80%-minimum charge policy in the case of attendance changes within 48 hours of your event. This policy allows us to better staff our coaches based on the number of students provided. Please inform us (hello@fitsetninja.com) of any attendance changes at least 2 days before the day of the event, and we can adjust the numbers accordingly.
How early should I book?
The simple answer is as soon as possible. Our mobile obstacle course usually book up 3-4 weeks in advance. To ensure you get the time and date you prefer, we would recommend booking your school at least 3-4 weeks before your desired date.
